General Election's and Money Politic's

 


Thesis:

I personally think elections are the activity or process of selecting people's representatives. Elections are generally conducted honestly and fairly without any secrets. However, this is not what happens in Indonesia, because in several regions the money politics system is still implemented. Where there are individuals or parties who give bribes so that their party can be elected. 

Argument 1:

Firstly election in 2024 in Indonesia was marked by pros and cons. One of them is money politics. This happens in almost every region in Indonesia, where individuals or parties give bribes to the public in the hope that the party or candidate from that party will be elected.

Argument 2

Secondly, money politics in Indonesia is a mandatory thing that must always be present in every election. Apart from the parties who want to benefit, the public is also happy about money politics. Because they can earn good money without having to work hard. 

Argument 3:

Thirdly, individuals or politicians are willing to spend a lot of money so that their parties and candidates can be elected. People who earn money will also be influenced by their opinions to vote for that party. Although there are also people who only receive money without exercising their right to vote.

Conclusions:

Whatever the form of fraud, from money to basic necessities, elections must be conducted fairly and honestly. We as Indonesian citizens should carry out elections with healthy competition. Because what determines the future of the Indonesian nation is us as the people.
